Swimming's built directly into the camp programme, taught by WetWetWet Swim School.
Most holiday camps treat swimming as an optional extra, a separate booking, a separate cost. At Activities 4 Kids it's simply part of the day, with a swim session built into the afternoon, taught by qualified instructors from WetWetWet Swim School.
If we are unable to access the pool for any reason, an alternative fun activity will be arranged instead.
Children are grouped by ability rather than age, so confident swimmers are stretched and nervous swimmers are supported, never lost in a group that doesn't fit them.
Instructors assess each child and place them in a group that matches how they swim today, not their age, not last year.
Getting comfortable in the water, floating, submerging, and building confidence at a gentle pace.
Introducing proper stroke technique, breathing, and independent movement through the water.
Refining front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke, building distance and endurance.
Sharpening technique and speed for strong, confident swimmers ready for a real challenge.
Every pool visit is led by a qualified WetWetWet Swim School instructor, with ratios kept tight. Our swim groups are small and every child is known. We take regular headcounts. Registers are taken before and after pool time. We have additional staff overseeing pool time for safety and toilet breaks.
